Location

The first location-type question you might ask is “where is it?”. For example, if we were to have the string “Beijing, China,” we would like to be able to determine a latitude and longitude based on this query string. To answer this question, we use the Bing Maps REST Services and query for the location. Of course another location-type question we might ask is “where am I?”. That question can be answered by the GeoLocationProvider class that is provided by the AJAX Control. We walk you through answering these two questions in the following sections.
